Not exactly the most interesting or original shops, but indispensable for a pleasant stay in Durbuy: the supermarket.
Durbuy itself does not have a real supermarket. You can find a few basic necessities in the Librairie or buy some meat at Bodson in the centre of Durbuy but for the real groceries we have to look further, towards Barvaux. Along the route to Barvaux, at the intersection of Petit-Han we can already find a more extensive range at Night & Day, a small local shop with very long opening hours. This is located in the same shopping centre as the Baltus butchery and the Delhaye bakery.
Most of the larger stores are in Barvaux on the Route de Marche. You can find a Spar here, next to a Action and DIY store Dema. Our favorite is the Carrefour Market, which has the most extensive range and several fresh food counters.
A little further, across the Ourthe river, there is another Delhaize, but in our opinion the selection is a little smaller and the prices a bit higher.
If you need an even bigger supermarket, you can find Colruyt, Aldi, Lidl, Delhaize and Carrefour Hypermarket in Marche-en-Famenne, as well as many other shops such as a Decathlon. Please note that Marche-en-Famenne is about a 20-minute drive from Durbuy.
