Butcher shop Bodson is a real concept in Durbuy. Not only because of the pig that beckons to the meat products through its window and has already been captured in thousands of Durbuy’s photos, but also because Serge Bodson has been selling the best meat on the corner of rue Alphonse Eloy for more than 20 years. Bodson’s slogan tells it like it is: “Chez Bodson tout est bon, de la queue au grognon”. Freely translated: “At Bodson everything is tasty, from the tail to the muzzle”. And we can agree (although I’m not a fan of the beer sausage myself).
The range naturally consists mainly of meat: different types of salami and ham, often from the region and prepared according to traditional methods, with garlic, nuts and berries. Steak, pork chops, sausages, a selection of cheeses… there’s more in that little counter than you might think. Serge Bodson can also deliver a caterer to your home for groups of 15 or more.
Bodson has also been selling bread and sandwiches for several years. The service is not always friendly, but the quality more than makes up for it.
