For the sturdy walkers, there is the Durbuy-Barvaux-Bomal-Durbuy loop, a strenuous walk of 21.5 kilometers. The route is a combination of other routes, so you have to pay attention and follow the signs along the way. Be sure to bring the map that is in our holiday home. The first sign to follow is that of the green rectangle (Bohon loop).
The route runs for a very long stretch along the banks of the Ourthe and leads you straight to Barvaux and Bomal. Then you go back inland past the villages of Herbet, Tohogne and Warre, to finally end up back in Durbuy.
Starting point from Villa Louise: Walk down Rue de la Haie Himbe to the bridge. Cross the bridge and immediately turn left. Past the mini golf at the forest you will see the first signs with the green rectangle.
