This activity is entirely at your own risk – it is private property and therefore not really accessible, the building is in poor condition and there are no safety features. Definitely not suitable for children.
A little further than Villa des Roches lies the old meter factory of Durbuy. The surrounding forests were planted to provide sufficient wood for the production. Afterwards the building was used as a hotel but unfortunately it has fallen into disrepair in recent years. It does make for an exciting discovery tour. Remember: leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photographs.
