Chocolatier Darcis has been located in the store behind Hotel Victoria since 2019. Jean-Philippe Darcis made a name for himself 25 years ago as a pastry chef and chocolatier and started his own chocolate production in 2016. He became one of the driving forces behind the ‘bean-to-bar’ philosophy and was also recognized as an Ambassador of Belgian Chocolate.
So be sure to try the bean-to-bar chocolate bars of real homemade chocolate from carefully selected cocoa beans. This is much rarer than most people think! The other delicacies are also worth discovering. We are not big macaron lovers ourselves, but connoisseurs have assured us that they are among the best in Belgium.
