We felt like something new, so we signed up for the tasting walk through the old center of Durbuy. This is a tour through the small streets of Durbuy where a guide explains the history of the smallest town in the world. Very interesting, but above all tasty: every fifteen minutes you stop at one of the many artisan shops in Durbuy. This way you can taste some of the many regional products: we started with a beer Durboyse and a toast with goat cheese from la chèvrerie d’Ozo. Furthermore, pralines from chocolatier Defroidmont, jam from Saint Amour confiturerie, saucisson from the tastiest butcher in Durbuy, Bodson, and to conclude a white beer from the Marckloff brewery.
And in the meantime you will also learn a lot about the history of Durbuy, that’s killing two birds with one stone! The guided tours are every Saturday at 10:30 am and reservations can be made at the tourist office of Durbuy on the Place aux Foires. There is a minimum number of participants and a small cost involved, but they will explain that to you over there. So highly recommended!
