At first sight this is a real tourist shop. Just about everything a Japanese person would like to take with him is for sale here: from Belgian beers to Ardennes salami to gift baskets with oils and spices. If you really want to let yourself go, feel free to do so, but to be honest it’s not exactly my cup of tea. Why I still like to mention the store here is because of the jams.
Saint Amour is still a real artisan jam maker on the plateau above Durbuy. You can also visit it, but I haven’t done that myself yet. The jams are sold in all sizes and types in this store, including a retro colored handkerchief on the lid. All kinds of fruit, with and without sugar, a true paradise for jam lovers 🙂 And voila, you still have an original and authentic souvenir from Durbuy!
More information about the store can be found on the website of confiturerie St. Amour.
